Hi, I’m Mimi, a petite 7-pound Chihuahua with a BIG heart! 
I’m a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little shy when I first meet you, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll happily become your little shadow. I especially love having one-on-one time with my person—that’s when I really shine!
My life recently changed when my beloved owner passed away. My other owner was unable to continue caring for me because of his own health issues, so I found my way to rescue. I’ve lived with other dogs and am currently enjoying life with several small doggy friends. I get along with them just fine, but I think I’d be happiest in a home where I can get lots of attention from my special person. I could be perfectly happy as your one and only, or I’d also do well with one or two other small, friendly dogs.
Because I’m used to having my person around, I can experience a little separation anxiety, especially when I first arrive in a new home. For that reason, I’d love a home with someone who is retired, works from home, or otherwise spends lots of time with their furry companion. With patience, reassurance, and a little time to settle in, I’m sure I’ll feel right at home. 
I do enjoy going for walks, and I’m always happy to explore the world at my own little Chihuahua pace. 
I recently had a dental and had a few teeth removed, but that’s all behind me now and I’m feeling great and ready to find my forever family!
