Mama Cass

Mama Cass is a very sweet, mellow gal. She is quite a bit overweight and sometimes stumbles when she walks. I think this is due to her having extremely long nails when she was found, and I also believe her eyesight isn’t very good.

She gets along well with my other dogs, although during dinner time, she will growl if any of my dogs get too close to her dish. She is highly motivated by food and treats!

She has started to wait by our slider to go outside, so I think she is probably used to a dog door -we just don’t have one. She has not had any accidents in our house.

Mama Cass also has a mammary mass that will be looked at by Dr. Mangone the beginning of February.

She is also missing some teeth – the ones that remain are in bad shape and need to be cleaned.

Overall, she is a delight to have around. She hasn’t barked since we have had her. She loves to simply lay on the couch wrapped in warm blankets and observe what’s going on around her. She sleeps a lot during the day, which is one reason why I think she might be an older dog.

Mama Cass would do best with a low energy home – with someone that enjoys lounging and giving her lots of love.
