Argyle is a senior (10) neutered male.  He will do best in a home who has patience to work with him on his terms, and wants a loyal companion who loves to always be by their side. It will take at least a few days to adjust to his new environment. But once he does become comfortable he is quick to warm up. When he selects “his person” he’ll become their shadow, following them all around the house at all times. He may even steal items of clothing and bring them to bed with him. Seems like he possibly came from a prior situation that was traumatic and left some unfortunate fears for this little guy. He’s scared of being picked up, so nail trims can be difficult and may require visits to the vet for sedated nail trims. He is missing some teeth so softer food or water-softened kibble work best. He does very well with cats and dogs. I’m unsure of his interaction with young children.
